I think DC12 is the highest-scoring single mode gun in the TargetingChallenge2K7. By single mode I mean that it does not have any code that differentiates between surfers and non-surfers, it only has a single mode for all targets. Phoenix, Dookious, CassiusClay, and Chalk all use a normal gun and an anti-surfer gun, with code to decide which to use against a particular enemy. --David Alves

So what was it? Dynamic weighting? A never-heard-of dimension? Weighting tweaks? Those are some impressive scores! -- Skilgannon

Or does it use data gleamed through a spacial rift created by the collision of dimensions? :) --Chase-san

Well you're both right. It uses the data gleaned from a spatial rift created by the separation of parallel universes. In further testing it is outperformed by Simonton's gun in the random-movers-from-all-three-TCs benchmark, but it's still kinda cool that it can do decently well against both surfers and non-surfers. 2 specialized guns is probably still the way to go though. --David Alves
