What's special about it?
I made it?
Great, I want to try it. Where can I download it?
How competitive is it?
It is currently at place 144 with 1639.55 points in the RR. It is long overdue for an update.
How does it move?
Rigth now it basically uses random perpendicular movement.
How does it fire?
It uses a type of GuessFactor/Linear?
Gun that uses the most probable enemy velocity rather than the most probable bearing change to fire. It seems that UnderDark
was thinking the same thing: see HistoricalVelocityRecal
How does the melee strategy differ from one-on-one strategy?
It has no melee strategy, and probably throws exceptions there.
How does it select a target to attack/avoid in melee?
It really doesn't.
What does it save between rounds and matches?
It saves firing data between rounds, nothing between matches. I am a firm believer that a truly good gun does not need to save data between matches.
Where did you get the name?
Actually, I got the name from Vash the Stampede in the anime Trigun. (If you've never seen it, its pretty good.)
Can I use your code?
It's so messy you really don't want to, trust me.
What's next for your robot?
I'm not sure. I have been experimenting with developing a unique targeting system without much success.
is one bot that comes to mind...
What other robot(s) is it based on?
