It's my first purpose built melee bot. Jekyl
also had very poor melee capability.

How competitive is it?
Version .1 placed 12th in the melee rumble
How does it move?
Classic minimum risk movement. I use two counter-rotating angles to project points to move to. I then compare the forces about these two points to find the point with the lowest aggregate force. That becomes the new destination.
How does it fire?
Uses a guess factored targeting system copied and modified from BlackPearl
Have you ever seen how many bullets there are in melee? Give me a break. I am not Neo (even after he had his eyes byned out).
How does the melee strategy differ from one-on-one strategy?
They don't and the 1-v-1 movement is a huge weakness for this bot right now.
How does it select a target to attack/avoid in melee?
Right now it looks to see who the closest bot it is. To become the new target you need to be 20% closer. It will not shift to a new target if gunHeat is less than .6. I am working on a new algorith to try and determine who is either the most dangerous or most likely for me to hit. As you can tell I have no worked out the details too much yet.
What does it save between rounds and matches?
It saves everything it can between rounds. Nothing between matches.
Where did you get the name?
My children play Yu-Gi-Oh. There is a card called Stone Ghost. It just sounded too cool to me.
