Caedo - Robo Wiki -= Collecting Robocode Knowledge =-

A OneOnOne specialist, the first megabot by Rational Insanity.

Current verson: 1.4 (2002 12 17)

Soon after this version was released, I took a break from Robocode to concentrate on my final year of high school, so that I could end up in one of the most brutal engineering programs in Canada.

I don't intend to make further updates, as it was coded with complete disregard for good programming style. A new minibot would probably do better.

Aiming

Primarily relies upon the GuessFactor strategy, with a few problems added. :P

Movement

Random side-to-side movement.
Due to a bug in the movement code, Caedo had problems at long distances. To compensate, Caedo advances towards its opponent by turning 20 degrees from the perpendicular.
