0002: Bugfix: bullet-hit-bullet wasn't working. Made distancing a lot smoother. Bullet-hit-bullet waves are also no longer surfed. Now surfing waves after the enemy dies. Keeping waves around until the totally pass me for logging purposes.
0003: Bugfix: ok, now actually surf waves after the enemy dies. Adjust in-the-air wave danger on logging a hit.
0004: Revamp of the path finding algorithm (as noted at the top of this page). Always travel at the angle to achieve maximum escape on the next wave (finally an answer to smoothing distancing). Account for the danger of all waves that will hit a point once. Still a known bug ... if only I knew what was causing it!
0005: Experiment in traveling along the path of the MaxEscapeAngle: travels along the original MEA path, rather than the the one from the time the path is chosen (i.e. when the wave right before it passes).
0006: Finally found a bug I've been hunting since last night. (and back to 0004's MEA path)
0007: And now I found & fixed another bug in the keep-surfing-after-the-enemy-dies stuff. Man, that situation always wants to get away from me. Oh, wait, and also a bug in the near-wall behavior.
0008: Increase from considering 31 to 61 points per wave.
0009: Trying out dive-in protection (of which there has been none so far).
0010: 0008 with the distancing of 0005, now that some more bugs are out.
0011: Using original MEA distancing, like 0010 & 0005. Surf a cluster of size sqrt(history.size()), rather than 3.
0012: Revamp of path finding again, getting poised for the next step (using law-of-sines stuff so that I can start thinking about whether a point is reachable when the bot is moving). Back to current MEA distancing.
0013: Re-release of 0011 with the revamped system of 0012, because I think I introduced bugs again. This should confirm it.
0014: Under construction. Consider the best path continually, not only after reaching the next destination.
0015: Still buggy, but this is 0014 with 1 less bug (I broke the radar lock in 0014).
0016: 0015 after some major refactoring. We'll hope it performs as well!
0017: 0016 with 2 less bugs, introduced during refactoring.
0018: A few bugfixes in the pathfinding. There's still more bugs in there. But this fixes a major bug in the clustering. It was choosing basically arbitrary clusters, rather than basing the clusters off the similarity to the current situation. Yes, it's true. I expect this to perform better.
0019: One speed optimization. Now also reasonably handles the situation when no local minimums are reachable on a wave. This should especially held against HawkOnFire.
0020: A couple, more minor speed optimizations. Now detects enemy wall hits & robot collisions, to avoid surfing false waves. (And I'm pretty proud of the logic, too).
0021: Weight wave dangers by the amount of damage they would do.
0022: Danger calculation more like WaveSerpent. Seems to be about the same against simple targeters, but worse against the rest
0023: Trying out dive protection again, now that it's less buggy.
0024: EnergyDropSurfing. This should do more than just consider more dangers ... it should keep my bot pointed in the right direction when there were otherwise no waves, and do much better against RaikoMicro.
0025: Only use EnergyDropSurfing when there are less than 2 waves already in the air.
0026: Remove dive protection (it didn't help). Back to pre-0022 danger calculation.
0027: Proper OnDeath handling. Fixed a phantom wave that was fired when I killed the enemy after he was disabled.
0028: A re-entrance to robocode. It's been a long time. This version's main change is switching from depth-first path search to [Dykstra's algorithm]. I'm sure I lost some bugfixes in the process, but it's so much prettier now ...
NOTE: run w/ a normal CPU constant, where all other version had a lengthened one to prevent skipped turns.
0029: Some more refactoring making the code clearer / more intuitive. Supposed to be functionally equivalent to 0027 & 0028, but I know I fixed a bug or two from 0028, maybe more.
0030: 2 bugfixes. Now the prediction is only off from actual movement a few times per round.
0031: Now using setAhead(infinity) setMaxSpeed?(__) instead of Robocode's default behavior for setAhead(__) arrive at a point. Robocode's takes take one more tick than necessary a little over 12.5% of the time. As a side effect, my code will also tend to make the bot arrive traveling at a faster speed (but still <= 2, of course).
0032: Speed optimization: moved prediction into an object that caches things like sin(heading), to avoid some unneeded trig calls. Should get the same scores if everything went right.
0033: Bugfix: my prediction code did not "correctly" slow the bot down to +/-maxVelocity when, if there was no maxVelocity, it would go slower still (now I just don't set maxVelocity when it would trigger that behavior). Tweak: when 2 paths have the same danger, pick the one that leads me the farthest from gf-zero (previously it was pretty much random). Speed optimization: considering points on a wave from current position outward, stopping when one is totally unreachable.

0035: Improved the driving code to require one less tick to reach a destination in many circumstances.
0036: Quick bugfix to the change in 35 - it was still taking one tick longer than necesarry in some cases.
0037: The new driving code from 0035 (and 0036) was not as good as I thought. Found an equation that I hope is optimal now!
0041: oops, wrong danger calculation 0038 with distancing code to move at different angles (instead of favoring diffirent destinations).
0042: oops, wrong danger calculation 0038 treating energy-drop wave as harmless (but still use it, to keep pointed in the right direction).
