1) For beginners, I reccomend starting right off with an AdvancedRobot. Extends Robots are actually much harder. 2) Decide the type of robot it will be, Melee or OneOnOne. 3) Make a good Radar. Turn on visible scan arcs and look at the sample bots and some other bots out there.
