Sorry for not specifying very exactly what functionality I want. It's still just a baby idea in my head. But your implementation seems to have everything I should need. I had missed the ListIterator? in the Collections API. It was what I was exepecting to find when I browsed the API. I must have been really thick when browsing. ... Thanks for the help Nano.
