Long time programmer in C, C++ and Java, but a rookie Robocoder

My first pair of bots are Autobot3 and Autobot4 while trying to come up the learning curve.

I first saw a Robocode-like program in the pages of Byte magazine back around 1980 or so and actually coded a version of that up around about 1981 using Pascal that ran on a PDP 11/34 and displayed on a VT-100 using character graphics. I have thought about that program on and off for years .. (Dating myself a bit here) .. then stumbled upon Robocode a few weeks ago. Way too much fun.
